Kumon Ranks on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500

January 14, 2025, RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Kumon ranked by Entrepreneur magazine in its Franchise 500 ranking, published today.

Entrepreneur’s annual rankings are based on outstanding performance in areas including unit growth, financial strength and stability and brand power.

During the last year, we have embraced our expansion into digital learning with Kumon Connect and developed the English for Spanish Speakers Program.”

For children from preschool to high school, Kumon is an after-school math and reading enrichment program that goes well beyond traditional tutoring. Unlike other academic programs, Kumon is individualized for each child.

With Kumon Connect, students use a tablet to sign in to a web-based app, where they can view their graded worksheets from the previous day and access their homework. Instructors can “replay” students’ work, provide feedback and update lesson plans accordingly. Also, parents can monitor their children’s progress through the app.

The English for Spanish Speakers Program caters to the unique needs of Spanish-speaking students who want to enhance their English proficiency. By leveraging the Kumon Method, students in select centers in Florida and California now have access to a comprehensive and structured approach to master English with Kumon.
